Image Selection

Images In Tile can produce exquisite tile murals from any image, painting or photograph. A mural can be designed around a spectacular photo, a favorite painting, your company logo or any other digital artwork.

There are four options available for imagery selection. These options are as follows:

  1. Provide your own image. You may submit your own image to us in a digital format or hard copy.
  2. Find a royalty free image through vast online directories.
  3. Custom design work by Images In Tile in-house graphic designer.

Many of our tiles are made from licensed works or from acclaimed artists. Please make sure you have written permission from the artist or license holder if you would like to use their work.

Royalty-Free Image Directories
Have an idea what you're looking for, but can not locate it? There are numerous websites that sell Royalty Free images you may use for your specialized mural projects.

We recommend www.corbis.com and www.gettyimages.com

Once on either of these sites, search their "Royalty Free" databases for the perfect image. Avoid "Rights Managed" work as such images are not intended for installed artwork.

Should you locate an image you would like to use for your mural, take note of the image's reference number, the site you found it on and include that information with your order. Images In Tile will add the costs associated with the purchase of that image to your mural order.

Costs for Royalty Free artwork are typically between $50 and $200. The exact costs for an image will be listed on their website.

Additional scanning fees may be incurred for large projects.
